Booking and payment

How do I make a reservation?

You can book directly online through the booking button on our website. Select your arrival and departure dates and the number of guests, and you will instantly see availability and the total price. Prefer personal contact? Send us a message via WhatsApp or email.

Which payment methods do you accept?

What is your cancellation policy?

Is a security deposit required?

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. Have an earlier or later flight? Let us know — we are usually happy to accommodate when possible.

How does check-in work?

Our local host Gilange will personally welcome you at Casa Trini, give you a tour of the house and answer any questions you have. A few days before arrival you will receive a confirmation with her contact details and all the practical information you need.

What if I arrive late at night?

No problem — we are flexible with arrival times. Simply let us know your expected arrival time when booking, and we will arrange for Gilange to welcome you, or set up a smooth self check-in.

How many guests can stay at Casa Trini?

What is included in the house?

Casa Trini is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay:

Yes, bed linen, towels and tea towels are all provided and included. You don't need to bring anything — just pack your suitcase and come.

Is Casa Trini suitable for children?

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted inside the house, in order to preserve its authentic atmosphere. Smoking outside in the garden is of course allowed.

Where exactly is Casa Trini located?

Casa Trini is located in Buena Vista, Willemstad — a quiet, safe neighbourhood centrally located on the island. You are just minutes away from the most beautiful beaches, the colourful streets of Willemstad, local restaurants and supermarkets.

How far is it from the airport?

What are the nearest beaches?

Blue Bay Beach is just 5 minutes' drive from Casa Trini. Other beautiful beaches such as [to be completed — e.g. Mambo Beach, Cas Abao, Kenepa] are reachable within 15-30 minutes.

Is the neighbourhood safe?

Yes, Buena Vista is known as a quiet and safe residential area. The house has an enclosed garden and private parking behind a gate. On arrival we are happy to give you tips on what to do and what to be aware of on the island.

Practical information

Do I need a rental car?

A rental car is highly recommended for exploring Curaçao. Beaches, restaurants and attractions are spread across the island and public transport is limited. We work with trusted local car rental partners offering competitive rates — we are happy to put you in touch.

Can you arrange a car, taxi or excursion for me?

Yes, we collaborate with trusted local entrepreneurs for car rental, taxi services and excursions. Let us know what you need when booking or in advance, and we will connect you with the right partner.

What language is spoken on Curaçao?

On Curaçao, Papiamentu, Dutch, English and Spanish are spoken. You can therefore explore the island without any language barrier. We speak Dutch, English and Papiamentu.

What currency is used?

The official currency is the Caribbean guilder (ANG), but the US dollar (USD) is accepted almost everywhere. Paying with an international debit or credit card is possible at most places. At Casa Trini you can pay your booking in euros via our checkout.

What is the best time of year to visit?

Curaçao enjoys pleasant weather year-round, with temperatures between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius. The island lies outside the hurricane zone and has sunshine all year. December to April is high season (drier period); May to November is quieter and often more affordable.

What if something breaks or there's a problem?

No worries — our local host Gilange is always nearby and reachable. Should anything break or stop working, we will resolve it for you as quickly as possible. You can reach her via WhatsApp, phone or email.

Is cleaning included?
